Geneva Servette Hockey Club (GSHC) fans are enjoying their time at the Vernets ice rink in Geneva before the team moves to the new Trèfle-Blanc arena.
Many supporters anticipate missing the rink, which one 16-year-old fan described as a unique and irreplaceable family environment. GSHC captain Noah Rod believes the team is ready to begin a new chapter. Former player Bernard Giroud recalled games at the Vernets attracting as many as 11,000 spectators.
