Hanoi integrates plants into roads to cool city

Hanoi authorities are adding plants to transport infrastructure like overpasses and roundabouts at the Vo Chi Cong-Hoang Quoc Viet-Hoang Hoa Tham intersection. The city hopes the greenery will reduce urban heat and improve the landscape. This project is part of a larger plan to increase green spaces, including trees, parks, and water features, throughout the capital.

The initiative extends to incorporating plants into buildings and streets across Hanoi.
