Dhaka launches clean school pilot to combat dengue risks

The Dhaka North City Corporation launched a clean school pilot program across 21 educational institutions in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

The initiative aims to reduce the risk of dengue by identifying and removing breeding grounds for Aedes mosquitoes. Workers and school staff will perform weekly inspections to find stagnant water and uncovered containers. These actions help prevent the mosquitoes from multiplying within school environments.
