Kyrgyzstan recycling fees nearly triple in nine months

The state enterprise Eco Operator collected over 342 million soms in environmental fees in Kyrgyzstan between January and September 2026.

The enterprise works under the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision. This total represents a growth of 214.4 million soms compared to the same period in 2025, when the ministry received about 128 million soms.

Eco Operator works with the State Tax and State Customs Services to increase the number of people who pay these fees and to recover outstanding debts.
