Kyrgyzstan performs over 120 kidney and liver transplant surgeries

Deputy Minister of Health Nurbek Bukuev announced that Kyrgyz medical facilities performed 116 kidney transplant surgeries and 11 liver transplant surgeries.

The National Center for Maternal and Child Health led the country in procedures by completing 89 kidney transplants. The Kyrgyz-Turkish Friendship Hospital performed 19 kidney surgeries. The Osh State University clinic completed 8 kidney transplants and 7 liver transplant surgeries. The National Surgical Center and the Kyrgyz-Turkish Friendship Hospital each performed 2 liver transplant surgeries.
