Man builds tiny boat to honor late father

Bart, a 60-year-old man in Belgium, built a small boat to remember his father, Louis, who was also a sailor.

He restored a 100-year-old diesel tugboat, converting it into a tiny boat using salvaged materials and family heirlooms. Bart installed solar panels and an electric motor, making the boat quiet and available for rent starting with one-hour bookings. He described his father as a kind and skilled man, saying he “had a heart and hands of gold.”
